What are grubs?
Grubs are larva of june bugs, japanese beetles and other beetles. They eat your grass roots, causing permanent damage to your lawn. Lush Lawn can provide 2 treatments; 1 to kill existing grubs and 1 to prevent them from becoming a problem for a full year.

Life Cycle:
You can detect grubs during the spring months of March, April and May and in the fall months of September, October and November. Seasonal detection is due to the fact that grubs go through an annual life cycle. In the summer they transform into beetles and lay eggs that hatch as grubs in late August/ early September.

Detection:
Our lawn care technicians are trained to detect grubs in the lawn. When they find grubs they will inform you by recording it on your invoice. When they are detected it is advised to take immediate action and allow Lush Lawn to put down the appropriate products to eradicate the grubs before they destroy your lawn. Grubs can cost you hundreds to thousands of dollars in lawn renovation expenses.
